may include multiple RAID Arrays or larger RAID-10 or RAID-50 + Hot-Spare
drives.
The Server Management built into the Server Board (Baseboard
Management Controller) provides you with instant remote hardware status,
power cycling and, hardware logs. Included Server Management Software
included can be installed on a Linux or Windows client. Also available
free of charge for Open Source Operating Systems such as FreeBSD, Fedora
Core, Red Hat and, SuSE is ipmitool and freeipmi which can be installed
on any client workstation or notebook or Server. Ultimately, you have
full out-of-band Server Management control regardless of where you or
the Server is located and whether the Server is powered on or powered
off, accessible via the Internet or LAN/WAN.
