provides a low cost solution for general purpose computing, hosting
provides and ASPs with a solid 2U Rack Server and captalizes on the
power of dual Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processors. The server board features
Intel 5000V Chipset and 8 memory slots for up to 16GB of fully buffered
(FBDIMMS) DDR2/667Mhz memory. The ability to use either or both SAS
and SATA2 Hard Drives provides greater flexiblity.
The Server Management built into the Server Board (Baseboard
Management Controller) provides clients with instant remote hardware
status, power cycling and, hardware logs. The included Server Management
Software included can be installed on a Linux or Microsoft Windows client.
Available free of charge is IPMITOOL which can be installed on any FreeBSD
or Linux client or Server. Ultimately, you have full out-of-band Server
Management control regardless of where you or the Server is located
and whether the Server is powered on or powered off via the Internet.
