2U Rack Server combines network port density and processor performance
in a compact 2U package, ideally suited for network data applications
including network security and services over IP (SoIP). The2610
uses Intel's first 64-bit quad-core processor with extended lifecycle
support, coupling high performance with power efficiency to provide
improved performance-per-watt over previous-generation rack-mount servers.
This Server is a perfect fit for the demanding environment
and limited space of the Telco Central Offices, highly available Government
data centers and, Rugged Military environments. It is ideal for the
convergence of Voice and IP for Next Generation Telecom solutions and
provides excellent investment protection.
The2610
supports single or dual Intel 64-bit Xeon EM64T Processors for high-peformance
computing and high reliability.
