Freedom Technologies3464 is an Enterprise 3U Rack Optimized Server providing outstanding 8-way Server Performance by utilizing AMD Opteron 64-Bit Processors in single or dual-core formats for High Performance Computing (HPC).

The3464 is the ideal Server for high volume 8-way smp processing with a large internal storage capacity for applications such as modeling, simulation and back-end database applications like PostgreSQL, MySQL and Oracle.

The 3464 supports Open Source Operating Systems such as FreeBSD-AMD/64 and 32Bit, Linux Distributions Centos, Fedora Core, Red Hat Enterprise 3 & 4 (32Bit and 64Bit), SuSE Linux SLES 8 and 9 (32Bit and 64Bit) as well as proprietary systems such as Windows 2003 Server and Sun Solaris.

The Chassis and Server Board provides high availability with Hot-Pluggable Fans, Ultra320 SCSI Drives, PCI Slots and, Hot-Pluggable Redundant Power Supplies. 7 PCI-Slots including 4 PCI-X Expansion Slots.

Freedom Tech's 3464 has the finest remote IPMI management tools built-in necessary in preventing needless and costly downtime and maximizing your return on investment. The tools include SSH and HTTPS (SSL enhanced Web Server) to a management controller via dedicated on-board 10/100 NIC.
