6000 is a 6U Modular Blade Server System. It can support up to
6 Compute Blade Modules and is in a Rackmount form factor.
The
6000 Modular Blade Server System offers very high availability
features such as, redundant hot-swappable cooling fans, hot-pluggable
power supplies, shared Hot-Pluggable Hard Drives. The6000
can be configured with memory mirroring and sparing.
The Management Module provides a virtual presence GUI
for managing the entire 6000
Modular Server system. It allows in-band and out-of-band management
of the compute modules, integrated shared storage, and ethernet switch.
Full remote management of the system including virtual
presence allows you to see your configuration and system from a remote
location. Remote Media allows easy remote installs from anywhere and
intuitive navigation allows you to configure your storage, network and
servers within minutes.
Take the pain out of firmware updates with the unified
firmware update feature, allowing you to update all components and servers
in the system through one interface and one update package.
Real time hardware information and alert notifications
on all components within the system.
With options for up to 6 Server Compute Blade Modules
and up to 14 storage drives, purchase only as much as you need when
you need it.
Hot-swappable components don’t require any cables
or tools to service.
